Bulldog Player Accolades - Recruiting

The Bulldogs have had their 3rd football player following the 2009 season sign a scholarship to play football. 1st Team ALL-CIF Offensive Tackle Spencer Johnston has signed with Western New Mexico. Spencer along with Ryan Morgan and Dean Faddis from the 2008 season will all be continuing their football careera at the collegiate level on Scholarship. This has opened the door for more  Bulldog Football Players as this upcoming 2010 season has 7-8 athletes currently being heavily recruited by schools already. As Coach Baldwin stresses, the athletes must have their academic transcript in order and have taken the SAT or ACT by the start of their Junior year.

PREP FOOTBALL: Ramona's Morgan commits to Army

Ramona's own Ryan Morgan commits to play football for the United States Military Academy...West Point ARMY-Division 1...Full ride scholarship

Seth Drake & Trevor Kerchner: Both of these 2010 Bulldog graduates will continue their playing careers at the University of Redlands.

PALOMAR COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Safety Faddis signs with Nevada

Dean Faddis will be signing a National Letter of Intent (Full grant in aide scholarship) this week to attend the University of Reno in the W.A.C. Conference. Dean will start school in about 10 days as a mid year transfer.

One season at Palomar College starting at safety and being a full NCAA Qualifier (good grades and test score) out of Ramona High enabled him to only spend 4 months at the Junior College level. This was the plan for Dean. I feel he would have got this out of High school had he not missed his Junior Year with the broken arm. Bulldogs should be proud...First Division 1 Bulldog football player in a while...Palomar College was a great place for Dean. --Coach Baldwin

Candon Canady: Northern Arizona Athletics

03/30/2009 LINEMAN
A special weekend it was for lineman to have the opportunity to learn and train with NFL great Jonathan Ogden, and it return, it turned out to be a group that worked diligently at honing their skill set and applying the knowledge being shared.
Class of 2010 lineman Spencer Johnston (Ramona, CA/Ramona) was the most impressive in pass protection not allowing anyone to get by him in 1-on-1’s. Johnston will need to continue to add to his frame, but has great tools to work with.
